The heart of any sales operation is its front line sales personnel. Obtain experienced external sales resources quickly and flexibly through outsourcing.
A sales contractor usually offers increased flexibility and lower risk:
- There are no upfront charges, just a daily charge – compared to 20-25% in IT sales recruitment. This equates to almost 6-8 weeks of a working contractor compared to a full time recruitment fee
- Whilst some organisations will need a full time sales resource, in reality many smaller organisations initially may not need ‘packages’ of 5 sales days per week. They may require 3, 4 or 8 days per week.
- Contract resources can be recruited accordingly and as there is not a formal employee relationship there are few administrative overheads – though they must be trained, remunerate and motivated in the normal way. An initial commitment of 2 days per week also significantly reduces upfront costs and risks
- The flexibility can be very useful because 2 people at days per week can each have different skills, vertical or geographic sectors. Additional resources can be recruited or short periods to assist with specific campaigns.
