Tips offered for UK business start-ups

Those starting up a business in the UK have been offered some tips on how to survive the recession.

According to BlogStorm, enterprises should take advantage of the fact that there are currently fewer firms in competition with each other for the same attention and recognition.

One of the best ways to do this is to have a clear set of objectives and plan what needs to be achieved, the site claims.

Continuing, the website adds: "For instance, do you want to increase your SEO rankings and drive large numbers of consumers to your website or is it more about getting a specific message to a niche audience?"

The North West Evening Mail recently reported that according to Barclays Bank, around 800 new businesses chose to start up in the UK in the third quarter of last year.
