SEO 'boosting lead generation efforts'
Search engine optimisation (SEO) is helping to boost lead generation for companies, according to an entrepreneur from Bolton.
Graphic designer Daniel Robinson of Vizcom told the Bolton News that he had expanded into SEO services, as many businesses had made enquiries about ways to attract more internet traffic to their websites.
He explained that he examines companies' sites and provides them with a report outlining "how they can improve what they are doing", adding that this often results in firms increasing sales or securing large contracts "because they are getting the right kind of traffic to their website".
The search marketing expert said he was "very busy at the moment" with enquiries from clients looking for ways to make sure people seeking particular goods and services are directed to their sites.
Mr Robinson suggested that businesses often do not know the best way to go about having a presence on the internet, which can affect lead generation and sales.
His comments are echoed by internet marketing expert Feras Alhlou who argued that businesses conducting internet marketing need to ensure that they can successfully use web analytics in order to meet their online targets.
Mr Alhlou suggested that "internet marketing is fast changing" and firms need to monitor, measure and evaluate the impact of campaigns.
