Company websites 'hindered by small errors'
Minor errors are preventing many companies' websites from attracting as many new clients as possible, it has been argued.
According to business manager of Design UK Steve Simmonds, small problems can cause problems for businesses hoping to boost their customer numbers through their presence on the internet.
Speaking at Technology for Marketing & Advertising, Mr Simmonds stated that important issues can occasionally be "completely overlooked", adding: "It might just be a very minor thing but it's minor things that can [cause problems]."
And he noted that companies are often surprised that their websites are not as affective as they could be at attracting new business.
Firms looking to boost their online lead generation may wish to consider adding a number of incentives in order to boost their website traffic, such as the publication of white papers.
Janet Driscoll Miller of Search Mojo recently suggested that landing pages and post-click marketing can both be used to improve website lead generation.
